Balloooon's musical romance plot revolves around an overly confident immature singer Malhar (Navjot Singh Chauhan) who falls for a mature and happy go lucky teacher Pragya (Aarti Rajut). Malhar is an impatient and unfocused singer who dreams of becoming a star singer but seldom puts an effort to materialize his dream. His life thrives around his one and only so-called best friend Bunty. His mother (Swati Dave) supports him in his passion blindly but his father (Prashant Barot) wants him to become a banker. Amidst all these, he meets Pragya (Aarti Rajput), a mature and happy go, lucky teacher. Will Pragya bring a change in Malhar's life?
