Raid was released in worldwide cinemas on 16 March 2018. Raid received generally positive reviews from critics and audience. Its lifetime global gross collection of ₹153.62 crore against a budget of ₹42 crore, making it critically and commercially successful. Co-producer Bhushan Kumar declared in April 2020 that Raid will be continued as a franchise of multiple films.
