A genius filmmaker David Lean never fails to amuse us with his love for epic stories. The scale is large and the protagonist is lovable. The geopolitical theme drives the film but there are few undercurrents, which make the story worthy of repeat watching. The films also excel in cinematography. A great film indeed.
