The Gujarati film Raja Saheb is inspired by the popular play Hukam Malik, written by Shri Chinu Modi. It tells the story of a poor villager, Hariya, whose dream of becoming a king is granted by a genie. Once inside the grand palace, with certain conditions, Hariya`s life as a king takes dramatic turns and leads to important realizations.
