The movie was supposed to release on 5 September but was postponed to 19 September due to avoid competition with Mary Kom. The movie collected ₹3.25 crore (US$430,000) on its opening day and collected approximately ₹12 crore (US$1.6 million) on its opening weekend. Daawat-e-Ishq ended its theatrical run with worldwide collections of ₹35.58 crore (US$4.7 million).
