Unnecessarily under exposed and missed the thrill. It tries to compensate for it with a well-done soundtrack and some marvelous scenes. But the overall experience is unsatisfying. I have been a fan of Batman and Gotham story world. The way characters are portrayed over the many comics, TV, and animated movies and series, it would be hard to fit them satisfyingly in one movie, that I can understand. But still, this take of Batman as a detective figure doesn’t do an impressive job. The crime he is solving isn’t much complex which can show his excellency in crime investigation. Robert Pattinson is a superb actor, but we can hardly see him acting, we just see his underexposed body and face. Then what is the meaning of casting such a good actor? The Riddler is one of the most clever characters in the Gotham universe, but with him too, the story doesn’t do any justice. Here, The Riddler fails in showing his mastery in cleverly executed crime.
