
I did enjoy the majority of this, as it is high-quality animation that reflects a diverse groups of artists' visions and presents new stories that we haven't seen.
The easy mesh of the actors sells us the relationship: Foster the tinder-dry joker to Pine’s quiet man.
Not only is Johnson enjoying himself, but the entire cast is clearly having a blast. And how could they not? Johnson creates for them a narrative playground full of whip-smart dialogue, genre nostalgia, and with a biting sense of humor.
"The Tomorrow War" is the surprise of the season, a stuffed-to-the-gills battle between evil aliens and terrified humans.
The Man from Toronto feels like the cold leftovers of a meal I didn't much like in the first place.
